Silk Painting Workshop – Live Online
Paint on silk the way
colour wants to move
A 4-day live silk painting workshop for beginners — learn gutta resist, flowing dye work, and finish with a hand-painted silk piece of your own.
Silk isn't painted — it's coaxed into colour.
Silk painting works differently from any fabric you've painted before. Dye doesn't sit on the surface — it moves through the fibre on its own, and your job is to guide it using gutta (resist) lines, salt textures, and controlled water.
Over four live sessions, you'll go from your first resist line to a finished, wearable silk piece — dupatta or fabric panel — painted entirely by you, with Jessica guiding every stroke live on call.
This workshop is designed for absolute beginners. If you've never touched silk or dye before, you're exactly who this is for.
